How to get your Business found locally–For Free!
These days everything on the internet has to do with personalization and localization. By now, you have probably noticed that you don’t even need to be signed into your Google account for Google to customize your search based on your location. They do this by using an approximate location based on your IP address. For example, you type in dentist with out adding a geo modifier (i.e. Minneapolis, MN). And ta-da, your search results still show dentists found in Minneapolis. No, this isn’t new news, but it’s important for business to be aware of. For this reason it’s becoming essential to have your business found locally through search engines, directories, internet yellow pages (IYPs) and data providers.
