Copywriting Tips for the Industrial Web
1. Review all information available previous to writing
2. Take strong notes during any interviews you conduct
3. The more text included in the content, the better!
4. Use 3-4 paragraphs or 12 sentences for each page, if possible, for optimal search results
5. Remember that your content will inform the reader what the page is referring to, but good copywriting will ensure the reader will follow through on a form of action
6. On that note, always include a CALL TO ACTION whether it’s for purchasing products or just getting more information regarding the company
7. DO NOT PLAGIARIZE, even if it’s your own writing—you don’t want to be blacklisted from Google!
8. Word every sentence differently if referring to the same information more than once on separate pages.
9. Remember: You are selling a company so use keywords abundantly to get strong search results in the search engines.
