Want better sales? Then ask for them!
One of the easiest ways to increase conversions on you site is to use strong calls to action. A call to action is anything that describes an action you want a user to take. The first thing you need to figure out is this – what action would you like your visitor to take? Some common ones in the industrial market are:
- Contact Us
- Request a Quote
- Download CAD Drawings
- Download Industry Solution Brochures
- Download Product Data Sheets
- Watch Demonstration Videos
- View Case Studies
- Newsletter Sign Up
- View Work Samples
Once you’ve determine the action you want your visitors to take, it’s time to ask them!
Add a sentence such as “Contact us today to learn more about activated carbon water filtration systems” to the end of a paragraph. Make sure ‘contact us’ links to your contact us page. How about an attention-grabbing “Request a Quote!” or “”See Work Samples” link to all of your product/service pages?
You need to clearly define, and then add these calls to action into every page of your site. Never assume the visitor knows what you want them to do. Then sit back and enjoy as your conversions increase into more sales.

Points well made… A call to action is critical.
